Today, my 15-year-old daughter asked for a ride to her boyfriend's house. It's the same house I've been driving her to for sleepovers with her friend "Kate" for two years. FML

This is a bit of a tough one, but I'm going to have to go with YDI for not taking more of an interest in your daughter's life and not insisting on meeting the parents the first time you dropped her off for a sleepover.

YDI for sure...For one you should already have met "kate's" parents if she's been going there for two years now.For two I would think you know something about her bf which you were taking her to see.And also maybe she is dating kate's brother, OR maybe he lives by Kate and she wanted to stop by her friends before hanging out with him.

ya "kate" probably just has a brother, maybe even a cousin, that is the daughter's boyfriend. either way you should have met kate's parents during those 2 years. hell even drop your daughter off and walk her to the door-> easy way to me the parents.

Here's a thought.. Don't have kids! I agree with she's dumb.

what you do is go inside to meet his family to check and see if he has a sister named kate ;)

thank god ive yet to have kids let alone a daughter but if i did i wouldnt let her leave the house till about 37 years old hahaha
