So at least it didn't get eaten by his friend. And if he swam again then you should let it go. Buy a better pet then a fish it's memory spans is only 3 seconds

For some people, fish make AWESOME pets. And the 3 second memory thing has been disproven already. My fish recognizes me and remembers what time of day he's going to be fed, and the one day of the week I do not feed him (He sulks that day) and he gets really grouchy when I have to clean the tank and turn off his bubble toy. Fish are truly fascinating creatures.

That poor fish is probably dead from swimming in the sewer.. :( You can always tell if a fish is dead by touching it and petting it... You shouldn't have assumed. :( RIP Fishy.
