Today, my 6 year old son learned that if you give a mouse a cookie, he will ask for a glass of milk. But if you give a hamster a cookie, he will try to shove the whole thing in his mouth, choke, and die. FML

It's a children's book. "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" by Laura Joffe Numeroff. It was the original in a line of like... fifty gabillion of them. :P ("If You Give a Pig a Pancake", "If You Give a Moose a Muffin", "If You Take a Mouse to School" and more recently "If You Give a Cat a Cupcake".)

Oh, how sad. D: I've always been fond of rodents. I feed my rat peanuts, peanut butter(as a treat), and bird foods... Wouldn't think it's wise to feed her anything else. Childrens books can be so misleading! Sucks for the hamster and your son. Bummer.

This is the funniest one yet. I mean it's horrible that the poor hamster died, but it really made me laugh. Of course I first read it on my phone and all I was able to read was "Today my 6 year old son learned if you give a mouse a cookie, it will die." which I found funnier that the acutal FML but still funny.
