Sounds like your better of without him/her, what a complete douche bag!
Well, they're rude. FYL.
That sucks. Hopefully you can find a friend who will be more supportive.
Yeah, I think it's time to let that relationship die. If he was so adamant that OP was lying to him after spending 30 minutes explaining a disorder to him, he's been looking for an excuse to end it for a while. Unless OP tried to use their BPD as an excuse for immoral behavior, instead of owning up to the behavior being wrong even if it was influenced by a mental/emotional disorder, being so unwilling to listen implies that the 'friend' isn't one. Relationships are about give, take, and the balancing of the two- that includes friendships. Unless OP has some major behavior control issues that they refuse to attempt to control through medication and other methods, it sounds like the guy just doesn't want to have to provide emotional support to OP when he needs it.
He said Bipolar Disorder..not BPD..
Sadly a lot of people don't realize that BPD does not stand for bipolar disorder and is a completely separate disorder.
Well . . . at least they noticed your behaviour instead of being completely oblivious? Although that should be the first step to being supportive, and its horrible that its not been so in this case, I have some hope that if they concur that your behaviour matches the diagnoses then they might come around in the future.
**** him, and **** all you assholes that voted ydi! You don't need that ******** in your life! Way too many people don't understand what us bipolar sufferers have to deal with. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here.
I know how you feel. I lost my boyfriend last year to cancer and my best friend goes around saying she's sick of my shit...okay.

Yeah, you don't need that guy in your life. Even if you did make up after that conversation, someone who thinks a mood disorder is 'bullshit' will never give you the support you deserve and need.
The amount of ignorance your "best" friend possess is astonishing. You deserve better friends who understand your mental illness.
