Well, the mods found it necessary to block a perfectly reasonable comment, so I will reWord it and try to be nicer. Your friend is an uneducated jerk, and if he can't except you for who you are, then he doesn't deserve to have you as a friend. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here. I have bp as well.
If you were really diagnosed with BiPolar, you would have a prescription from a doctor and you wouldn't be experiencing the effects of the disorder to a degree that you describe. You're full of shit and people are right not to be wasting their time with a lying sack of shit.
I also have BPD, OP, and have had this happen many times over. What I can tell you from experience is that the people who are worth it and deserve to be in your life will prove themselves. There's a lot of ignorance about mental illness, and those who cling to their ignorance rather than being open to education deserve no place in our lives. There are other friends, current and future, who will demonstrate their worth by participating in open and intelligent conversation, extending their patience and compassion and remaining loyal.
Well, that's one negative influence gone! I'm sorry he was a jerk, but you deserve better, OP.

Yeah, you don't need that guy in your life. Even if you did make up after that conversation, someone who thinks a mood disorder is 'bullshit' will never give you the support you deserve and need.
The amount of ignorance your "best" friend possess is astonishing. You deserve better friends who understand your mental illness.
