If our biggest issue is the color of a dress I think we're doing pretty damn well. But it's still white and gold.

It's the lighting of the photo that skews the perception; some people will perceive a shadow and see white while others will not and see blue. When I first saw it I saw blue and later when I looked at it again I saw white. Now my mind is confused and I just see an in-between color. I don't see why this is something to argue about; the dress is able to be seen as both colors.

Agreed. Our society as a whole needs to get their priorities straight. That dress isn't going to feed the homeless or bring the soldiers back from the war. It's so frustrating.

#216, I also saw baby blue and gold for days, staring at it trying to see anything different. Then I saw an article that had 3 or.4 different pictures of the dress in different lighting. Went back to the original photo and now I clearly see blue and black. Our brains are fascinating.

Playful and occasional arguing can be healthy but if you can't both can't survive a argument about obscure colors then it wasn't meant to be and you are both better off. I hope you at least managed to settle it and have the satisfaction of being right though.
