I don't understand what there is to fight about, it's about perceptions of color not politics. It's fascinating how so many people see different things, my husband sees blue and black and I see white and gold in blue lighting. It doesn't matter if you see something different, or what color the dress ACTUALLY is, it's just a cool visual phenomenon.

I like to think its the placebo effect messing with people's minds, that and 1 person may see the color red but another may see the same color a pink or rose color, the mind it amazing. But breaking up over something so stupidly childish is astounding, obviously you guys didn't have a very stable or proper relationship to begin with otherwise you both would have agreed to disagree.

If you see black and blue, your eyes are seeing wrong. It's white and gold with a mild color balance shift. There is literally no way to turn that dress black and blue without ******* the whole image up.

Having gone looking for the dress again, this time with full white background lighting (only way I can see color is with an intense amount of light, and doing so gives me headaches after a while), I can confirm the colors I see to be blue and red. Then again, I know my color vision is screwy, and I'm able to see really well in the dark. Take the information with that in mind. I see blue and red (I suppose if I toned down my background light, it might be black), but I've got bad color vision and excellent night vision.
