There are a lot of things that could be said on any weight-related FML. [I'll just pick one] Like always, we find two main trends of advice : 'push the skinny bitch in the pool' 'curves are way better' VS 'lose some weight' Which can be resumed in the myth of 'skin-deep beauty', [a better content in a less attractive package] It unnerves me that from childhood we are taught that 'it's what's inside that matters' and then, in any disney's princess, series' heroine, barbie [her mensurations are just inhuman without huge plastic surgery] it's like the Santa case again. How are people supposed to discover my 'radiant inner self', if they are not interested in knowing more of me because the girl next to me is more attractive ? And yes, we are naturally more drawn to slim people; err... slim people with 'the right curves' >.< as barbie kindly reminds me of... : long slim legs; round, firm buttocks, wide hips, a narrow waist, a flat stomach, and (of course) breast, and a nice face... A perfect body? And we tend to attribute positive qualities to slim people and negative attributes in overweight people. So no, we don't have the same chances in life. And yes, appearances matters. It's unfair and that's partly why we made up this myth, hoping that it would somehow get realized. [as human beings we expect Life to be Fair. It's not. And that is deeply frustrating] And some kind of moral justification for that (instinctive) behavior would be that normal/fat people deserves what they get for overeating/not-exercising and so on, they are just weak whereas slim people make efforts, eat healthier, exercise etc... Except that a lot of slim/skinny people claim not to make any kind of effort. [I'm not negating the fact that personality is essential for a relationship, although it is also linked to our body ; to our body's image and to other's perception of our body. (sadly, we're not souls drifting in the ether). And I haven't defined slim/average/fat] What I say is not politically correct, I just wanted it said. I'm neither bitter nor hateful, but tired of people deluding themselves. [English isn't my native language, so please don't judge too harshly any of my grammar mistakes]
She was a blonde, u deserve better OP!
Dear OP, YDI for not politely informing slim bikini girl to fnck off before you ate her. Own it, I say.
girl u can change your body but u can't change ugly. from what I can tell she seemed ugly (the skinny girl) inside and out. remember only dogs lay with bones. so you up above or below that r insulting fatties remember we can change but u can't change your ugly personality. so bahaha
