I think you people need to lay off on him. I'm a woman and I was falsley accused of raping my ex gf three years ago when she was 16 and I was 19. These girls know what they want! I'm sure all of us older than 18 remember what it's like to be 16 and full of horomonal lust and I'm sure some of us wanted people that were older and even acted on it. he got the shitty end of the stick because this girl wants to have sex and ignore the emotional repercussions and in her immaturity thinks crying rape will make all her problems go away so she doesn't have to own up to her poor and irresponsible choices. and FYI a pedophile is a person who is physically and emotionally attracted to prepubescent children. I doubt that this chick is 12 or younger.

This. Especially the pedophile part. If a fourteen year old wants sex with a thirty year old (which is pretty discusting), who are we to say 'no', knowing that they still will do it secretly. And whine afterwards. People are free to do what they want in their life, like, making stupid decissions. You can't protect people from themself, not adults, not minors. Both won't listen. So let them live how they want, and have sex with who they want, at which age they want, but they are the ones who have to live with the consequences.

To the poster who asked: "if a fourteen year old wants to have sex who are we to say no"? You would be an adult. Say no. Find another adult to have sex with. Just because a fourteen year old might go and have sex with someone else doesn't mean it's a good idea to break the law and boink her yourself.
