I wouldn't make vacation plans for when I would be on my period. if you can't freely have sex in some hotel room you have to pay big bucks for or enjoy the romantic moments throughly it does ruin a vacation.

I actually agree with the boyfriend on this one. I wouldn't want to go on a big, expensive vacation on my period. It's not just because we wouldn't be able to freely have as much sex as we want, but also all the symptoms that come with the period. I'd much rather postpone the vacation, then when my period's over, go on the vacation when I'd be able to fully enjoy it. :3

I've gotta side with the OP on this one. It sounds like the boyfriend didn't ask for her opinion on this. If he'd asked, she could've changed her pill around to delay it. But now she's stuck with a bunch of days off with nothing to do. Even if she couldn't have changed her period, they could've at least spent time together. I've actually gone on a beach vacation while on my period and still enjoyed myself. I tanned, I took in some sights near the beach, and I got to do it all with someone I cared about. It was still a REAL vacation.
