To all the people giving you a hard time for noticing that I think they are being silly, there are many poems that spell things out and after I read a poem I look for things like that. You should really ask him about it, just find a way to do it in a non confrontational way, don't accuse him, just mention that you noticed it and were confused.

Perhaps he found the poem, didn't remember that it had been written for her, and assumed he'd written it for you and just forgot to give it to you. It's not likely that he would have sat there looking at the first letter of each line or anything to make sure, he probably didn't even remember writing it. You're overreacting. I'd point it out to him, but don't let it get to you.
