Today, my boyfriend gave me a really sweet poem that he wrote for me. I think it was secondhand - the first letter of each verse spelled his ex girlfriend's name. FML

I'd say it depends on what his ex's name is. if it's something short like anne, I'd say coincidence but if it's something longer like meredith, yeah it was meant for her
