Best fml ever...
I would like to correct people's grammar but my own grammar sucks. Anyone knows how to increase your grammar skill?
Go look at Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation book.
Reminds me of the time my Filipino coworker taught us a word in Tagalog. My boss who's also Filipino actually thought it was funny that he taught us the word "pukelo". Good times!
I'm not entirely sure your boyfriend was being a jerk, but, well, Yeah, he was being a jerk, who failed at an attempt at humor.
I don't believe this. If he was really Japanese and his parents were really Japanese, then he would hold the utmost respect for his parents, and therefore would not want them to be offended. Also, why would he waste the time to introduce his girlfriend to his parents, only for it all to end badly?
Good first impression..
this is why you watch amine and read manga. if aishiteru is in there you better ask what it is you're loving

Lol! If your boyfriend actually taught you that, knowing how his parents would react, reevaluate your relationship.
^ because correcting a piece of text restores faith in humanity.
