Today, my boyfriend introduced me to his parents. My boyfriend is Japanese, and I wanted to introduce myself in Japanese so I'd asked him. Little did I know he'd taught me how to say, "Hello, I love your son's cock." I almost got kicked out of their house. FML

Lol! If your boyfriend actually taught you that, knowing how his parents would react, reevaluate your relationship.

And I always thought Japanese culture taught extreme respect for the family. I suppose some people never learn, no matter how they're taught. He has a pathetic excuse for a sense of humor too.

Japanese culture does indeed place a lot of emphasis on respect for one's family. Penis jokes, however, are universal.

Don't be so negative that's hilarious

That doesn't mean every Japanese person on the planet is going to act/think a certain way.

Pretty immature. Extremely unacceptable. I love humor in a guy but this is just full of stupidity and childish. Smh and Fyl first impression is important!

That is so mean! Surely he would want his parents to like you??

Apparently, he didn't. If his parents already know they raised an an asshole, they just had it re-confirmed.

I think he brought it on himself ..obviously his parents know that you don't know Japanese and that it's there son who taught you how to say it..I think he should of been the one who almost got kicked out not you..so don't be ashamed OP..it's not your fault.

Well you know one thing now. he did not see you as a potential life partner or else he wouldn't have let you make a fool of yourself and make a bad impression.

I dont see why someone would want you to say something disrespectful to their parents, but I guess some people have a different sense of humor... I hope you got a good chance to explain what happened!

She shouldn't explain anything! Her bf should be the one explaining.

Might want to check if you think he is actually a boyfriend who is worth it, if he has that strict of parents and would still play a joke like that. Although, next time, maybe you should try using Google instead of asking someone, even if it is someone you tru
