No worries! I had a habit to call anyone (not just my new boyfriend, but anyone regardless gender) in my ex name as they did something annoying for more than a half year. And that was definitely not out of hearty feelings toward my ex. I guess I was so irritated by him, that I associated anything annoying with him only :D .
I've been married to my wife for six years. She was married to her ex-husband for over 10. It still happens to us, it's no big deal, get over it.
and you made it through that!?!?!?! I wonder who's going to play you in the movie
You guys have only been together a couple of weeks. How long was he married? Give him a bit of a break. You guys haven't been together long.
shit happens get over it and stop wailing. pretty much means he feels really familiar with you
Uh, you're in trouble now! Alan hates when someone takes that award from him!
had a fun discussion with him for about an 1 hour. for using the word whining instead of wailing. Ohhh hold on I guess this comment will be moderated too
My mom slipped once in a while with regards to my dad and her boyfriend. How many of you with siblings were called the wrong name? When you are not fully paying attention, your brain goes into auto pilot and reverts to the norm. This will not be the last time it happens OP and it doesn't mean anything unless he sais it in bed. I don't believe this is a ydi but is is not an FML either.
They were together for a while, and you've only been together for a couple of weeks. I wouldn't worry over it unless he still has romantic feelings for her, and so on.
The guy is divorced and accidentally called his new girlfriend by his ex-wife's name. Slip of the tongue, I think.

It was bound to happen. It's only a couple of weeks. Unless he still has feelings for her I wouldn't worry about it.
Well of course it was going to happen - he was married to her. So he's used to saying that name when he's talking to his significant other - it's habit. And you've only been together a few weeks. If he's constantly saying it or still doing it a couple months down the road, or during sex, then you can worry about it a little. And even if it was during sex - once is a silly mistake - if it keeps happening, then give it a little thought.
