I've seen a lot of these "God this, God that" FMLs lately. By far, my favorite response to the one where the lesbian girl's mother said that lesbians were disliked by God and were evil sinners of the ranks underworld was "Isn't your mother too old to have an imaginary friend?" That may not similarly apply here, but nonetheless, your ex-boyfriend sounds dumb and out of good excuses.
