Today, my boyfriend pointed out that the water bill is getting kind of high. I suggested that we shower together to save water. He said he'd rather deal with the high water bill. FML

Why do you imply that he's gay or sexually confused? He may either not see his girlfriend attractive, or he needs some privacy and a place he can be alone, or he may be shy and not liking the thought of cleaning himself near the significant other, or maybe. Just maybe it's not his thing to shower with other people. Or the shower may be barely large enough for two people and it would be more of a hassle trying to fit Is there anything special showering with your gf anyway? It's just a regular shower anyway

Who are you to say if OP's boyfriend loves her or not due to one little FML story? Here, let me play your game with you. Oh! Why are you so bitter towards relationships? Get dumped recently? Maybe it's cause you told your significant other that he/she didn't love you. Please don't assume you know ANYONE in FML, because for all you know OP could be a terrible bitch and maybe she tries to force her Boyfriend to do EVERYTHING as a couple.

Is it possible that with work, school, you, kids or whatever else he is up to on a daily basis, shower time is his alone time, where he can be alone with his thoughts and chill out? The idea of consistently showering together for financial reasons (you didn't mention anything other that that) might be smothering to him. It doesn't mean he finds you unattractive. Don't be so sensitive.
