Why is that an FML moment?
because when a man proposes to his girlfriend it's supposed to be like something out of a romance novel and he's supposed to say stuff that sounds like it came out of a Hallmark card, and it's a memory women are supposed to love and cherish forever. Or maybe other women anyway, I am not one of them and I hate how society thinks I'm worthless for still being single. In the bad old days if a woman was in her late 20's and not married she was a spinster who was believed to be long past her marrying and childbearing years. The only thing that's really changed is that most people live past their 40's now. :-p
Well that sure killed the romance. Hope he's a bit more mature as a husband.
