Who's married now? She said ex, as in EX BOYFRIEND. She just got engaged. And if they're married it's up to them if they use condoms or not. There is no need for an excuse.

Not necessarily true. He may have some preconceived idea of the "type" of people who get STD's and therefore his faith in her is destroyed. Yes, it is stupid, but many of these people exist...just look at FML comments...

It worries me how little people know about STI's they could have split up years ago and she could have had it this whole time without symptoms..! That's why chlamydia is so common.
