He's right
You don't necessarily need to go to the Dentist, as long as your mouth is healthy and has nothing wrong. But from what I gather, everyone needs to go at least once a year
I haven't been to the dentist since 2009. But I have perfect teeth. My insurance is the VA hospital so I only go if I have to.
so? I haven't been to the Dentist in 7 years and before that it had been 10 years... Never had any issues. Just take care of your teeth and don't waste money on a useless Dentist
My previous boss spent about 20-40k on his teeth in the last 1-2 years. Not everyone has the genetics of good teeth (I do, however). I figure $300 a year ($150 each session) is a good deal for having perfect tooth and gum health and reliable advice - far from 'useless'. I wonder how much you will spend on fad diets and quackery this year instead of seeing a medical professional.
The stupid, it burns!
Why is it so bad he doesn't go to the dentist? As long as he cleans his teeth on a daily basis it's perfectly fine. I've only been to the dentist once in my 15 years and I'm not disgusting or weird. I take care of my teeth .
I haven't been to the dentist in over 5 years and I have perfect teeth...
Go get your damn teeth cleaned twice a year and brush and floss and you probably won't have a problem. Bacteria breeds under the gums which is what hygienists clean out every 6 months. If you're not doing that you could develop periodontal disease which can spread to other areas of your body and cause loads of problems.

If he still takes care of his teeth I don't see why it matters.
He still brushes his teeth right? he doesn't use breath mints to cover his breath for 6 months?
