So, did he actually say that he was cheating on you, or was he referring to a family member??
One time I told my girlfriend she wouldn't be the only girl I'd ever love. I said "she'll be really cute and call you mommy." It depends on the context, but he could've been joking or meaning something like this! good luck
**** that's romantic.
I'm the OP, and I just wanted to let everyone know he was referring to his ex. This happened months ago and it was pretty devastating. But after a lot of heartache, we are still together. It's a long story, but basically his ex is no longer a problem and he is the love of my life. We still have issues we could probably work through, but every couple does. I couldn't see my life without him. I love him!
Hi, OP again. Forgot I posted this. But update: he really was a giant dickbag. We broke up less than a month after this post and I've learned from my mistakes. I found someone new that I really like, so we'll see how it goes!

Well he must love his parents of course right! And his cats and dogs... And goldfish... And food...
At least he's honest.. Maybe it was awkward, he wanted to tell you and didn't know how, he was nervous... But honestly, you should probably just move on.
