it's not that big of a deal i wouldn't date someone with a purity ring it's just 2 different ways of life one sexual one not they just don't mix and it's best to end it before it really begins.

First of all we have no idea what his reason for hanging up was, in terms of the "purity ring". When I date somebody I have no problems NOT having sex - It doesn't bother me at all. If the right person came along and wanted to wait I'd be 100% fine with that, HOWEVER, I would never date a virgin. In my experience virgins haven't fully matured and in most cases [not all cases] cannot take on the responsibility of a real relationship. You can tell right away who these people are because after High School they're still the ones treating relationships in a school-age manner. It's not about having sex, it's about developing your sexuality as an avenue of your personal health, which is important. These are the people who are too embarassed to even talk about sexuality without using silly words to replace completely anatomically correct ones like nipple, penis, ****** or sex. Maybe that's how he feels. . . Or. . . Maybe he's just somebody whom at that age wants to have sex, he's a sexual being. . There is NOTHING wrong with that - It's not about respect, or not caring or being inconsiderate. He's a sexual being and she's not. . .It's not his problem and/or fault and he shouldn't be berated for it.
