Today, my dad found out I got a tattoo behind his back and is really really upset. When I got home from work my car wasn't in the driveway. When I asked my dad where it was, he replied "you'll get it back when your tattoo comes off." FML

Today, I came to terms with the fact that my dad will die without knowing I have tattoos on my body. I'm afraid my dad will suffer a deadly heart attack due to the revelation, as he had two heart failures in the past. My dad is still the sort of person who thinks that people with tattoos are criminals. FML

Today, I was getting my first tattoo done. My parents told me it was a bad idea. My friends' parents told me it was a bad idea. I told them that people get tattoos done all the time and nothing goes wrong. Fifty minutes into the tattoo on my back, the artist said, "Oh shit, shit, shit. We can fix this." FML

Today, is the day I got my first tattoo. It's also the day where my mom screamed at me, gave me the silent treatment, and kicked me out of the house. Apparently I’m not considered her daughter anymore, because my skin is “damaged” now. I don’t have other family anywhere, and I have nowhere to go. FML

Today, I heard from my little nephews that in school, the father of one of their peers has his arms all covered in tattoos. Their grandpa told my nephews to stay away from people with tattoos, as they were likely criminals and wanting to kidnap children. He doesn't know I have a tattoo in my back. FML

if you read mine again you will see that i said they only have rights to things they bought. if she bought the car herself, and i doubt she did seeing how she still lives with her parents, its hers and her parents have no rule over it but, if she doesn't then the car is her dads.

"you're ignorant. if its in his name, it doesn't matter what age you are, it's his car." That's the only comment of yours I saw and the only one I responded to. The rest of that is in no way in that comment. Also I have to ask why would you say " and i doubt she did seeing how she still lives with her parents" ? Most of the people I have met bought their 1st cars well before they moved out of their parent's house so that they had a means to get around to do things like work for the money to get an apartment or house or whatever without needing their parents to drive them around. It also provided a way to get to the new home and away from the home when they needed. I did say to ignore it if it's a case of comment displacement

The OP can control they're own life, body, and make their own decisions... but if their dad said "you can't drink, smoke, get tatoos or stay out until a certain time while still driving HIS car and living in HIS house... it's their own fault they don't have a car now. Own your car or get your own place and then you can live by your own rules (even though you'll still be living by your bosses rules and your landlord's rules)
