Today, I found out my father has been saving money to help me buy my first car. In the same conversation, I found out my mother, unbeknownst to my dad, used nearly all of the money to bail my drunken, deadbeat uncle out of jail for the fourth time a month ago. He's now back in prison. FML

don't go to jail......it will literally ruin your life they will suck all the money out of you they can putting you on pre trial or probation, it's not worth it. my mistake of two years ago is causing me to not be able to go to college because of all the stuff they make you do for probation....i thought i could handle it, but IT'S NOT WORTH IT.........if anything.......RUN!

he most likely has good reason to say that. he may simply be plan unreasonable too. either way, at least he is taking prevalence that you may thank him for one day.
