great and since your so bold and grown enough to have sex all over my house your bold and grown enough to get out and get your own place :)
that's why as a parent your not over protective, but you are in your kids life. there's a perfect happy medium between not caring and over protective parenting
Think of it this way: Either sleeping with her boyfried has been legally child molestation until today, in which case you can sue him, or now her having sex with her boyfriend is now legally child molestation, in which case they can't do it until he turns 18...unless they miraculously turned 18 on the same day. Then, sucks for you... good luck with your daughter OP :)
clearly she just turned 18 and has had sex with numerous partners before....all her lays could be legally sued. I would press charges to embarrass her and then drop them, after kicking her out. who cares if the parent was overprotective...better than thoae who don't care!
You don't understand consent laws at all, do you? I had to look it up, because they vary by state, but in California the age of consent is 18, with a 3 year age difference clause in both directions. So if, when she was 17, the guys she had sex with were between 14 and 20, it's legal. Now that she's 18, they can be 15 or older, and it's still legal. Having sex with someone under 18 isn't automatically a crime. That's not how that works at all. In fact, in a lot of states, it's far more lenient than what I just said (since age of consent is usually 16).
Canada is 16 with 5 year close in age clause
and you can't sue it's called stachitory rape and it's a felony so you would be sending her bfs to jail but you need a complaining witness for that charge and since ops' daughter had to explain where it all went down op is obis not a witness
# 175 - If you had to look it up then don't judge people for not being right about it for that state. I'm from the UK so know nothing about the laws in the US but I know that, here, the age of consent is 16. If one of the participants is over 18 and one is younger than 18, it is also illegal. There isn't an age difference clause. So don't laugh at people because they don't know everything about somewhere they don't live. OP, if your daughter was able to have sex in your house without your knowledge then you can't have been that over protective so FYL. One day your daughter will realise that you weren't being a monster by trying to protect her.
Thank you toongirl! Where I live, if you are eighteen, and you have sex with someone under 18 it's illegal, and I just assumed it was the same in other places.
#184 that's not how it works in the UK at all.. The age of consent is 16, end of. The only time this doesn't apply is when one of you is in a position of authority (teacher, doctor etc) then and ONLY then does your partner have to be over 18. If you're a 20 yr old uni student and you sleep with a 16 year old that is still legal!
Haha, if it was my kid, I'd inform her that I can legally throw her ass out of my house.
it surprises me that someone with an 18 year old daughter is on this site.. juss sayin
Its FML, not FM High School L
Wow Sly, that was a pretty douchebag comment.

a rude awakening for what? a rude awakening for actually CARING about you? my parents are overprotective too but it's for my own good. at least they care enough to protect you. some parents don't care about their kids at all..
