Today, my doctor told me to buy some KY Jelly and a dildo to help "loosen me up" so sex isn't so painful. I haven't been able to have sex for 6 months because it hurts so badly, and now my doctor has basically told me to go fuck myself. FML

You should get a second opinion might be something else other than you being not loose.

If I were your doctor, I'd tell you just to stick to oral and anal. Let me know if your national health care system up there covers physician-prescribed ******.

why was the first comment moderated? did it say first? and also I would suggest going to him to loosen up a bit ;) haha

# 21 you called? it's not the size it's how you use it...well that's what my girlfriend tells me when I cry at night

Wow. I didn't know that was even possible. I always thought that the muscles in ****** can stretch and contract enough to fit an average penis. I guess you could try to ********** using your fingers and take it slowly from there because if you can't handle an average penis then the vibrator won't be much help and I am assuming you had been having sex with lube because if not, that would explain why it hurts. I know when I started it was awfully painful and I dont produce much fluids so I had to use lube an the lube just made it sticky and even more painful so now we just use spit. I hate it but to b honest it is a lot more natural and surprisingly cleaner than using lube.

yeah, sometimes the pain comes from a swollen cervix as a result of an infection. when something bumps into it, it hurts. a lot! definitely get checked out by another doctor.

A *****? Your doctor advised a ***** to loosen up? I don't know why, but I think you really should go to a professional. A real one. If intercourse is painful, than you have a serious problem that can't be cured with a *****. Dyspareunia, I think. A *****...djeezes.

i was told the same thing by my doctor over 5 yrs ago. I'm a petit person, I'm 4'11. (so maybe all my orifices are small)... I know for me, sex with my husband was painful for years. we tried lots of lube, different positions and toys. truthfully it only got better after i had a vaginal birth with our daughter.

Why not try the lube and ***** suggestion? It's not something dangerous where you really should get a second opinion. Just try it and if nothing changes, go for another opinion.

Yup, that's Canadian healthcare for you. Glad to live in the U.S.

He didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Someone is butthurt.

If that's the case, then she's doing it wrong. ;).

haha I live in BC as well idk where u are but that's funny sorta... but still FYL... I hope everythings okay and it isn't anything serious

you fail gosh "hope its not anything serious" ffs she just need to put a ***** in her pussy to get it larger so it wont hurt

did you miss 13's post regarding the possibility of the pain being a symptom of something more serious? you fail for not recognising that

for something like that, unless those have already been ruled out, a second opinion would be a good idea... there are doctors out there that are not thorough enough, and make the wrong diagnoses.... I had glandular fever years ago (mono for those not familiar with the term) and my family doctor told me it was just the flu, after doing a white cell count blood test.... the university doctor also did a blood test, but it wasn't for a white cell count.... I did indeed have glandular fever.... Some doctors will be very thorough, and others just take the face value... It's not always clear at first, which is which
