I take offense to that. It's not religious people, it's stupid or drunk people who do stuff like that. Please don't generalize. Also, why do you assume the drunk girlfriend is religious? She is/was drunk (i.e. not in her right mind); drunk people do things they most likely wouldn't do sober. She may have accidentally bought it, seeing as she is/was drunk. Please think before you speak.
