Today, my fiancée told me she was having a bad day while we were lying in bed. Just as she was about to fall asleep I thought it would be sweet if I sang her a song that her Mom sang to her when she was a child. Instead, I was told to shut the fuck up and that I sucked. FML

hm. i think that was sweet, but i also feel like it kind of crosses a weird line. if that was her thing with her mom from her childhood, that's not really replicable. it breaks into something that's kind of "sacred", and at least personally i can empathize with it making her even more frustrated. i think the safest thing here is to ask her what you can do for her... fiancé or not assuming can get you in trouble :/
