"Acting is easy. Just stand there and you're playing the part of a tree." Your logic makes no since.
That was a really bad comparison. Art takes skill, and most people have a hard time getting by when pursuing a career with visual art. And I'm not just defending art, acting requires talent as well. And it isn't ever easy. You need to memorize lines, sometimes songs and choreography. The point is that both are difficult in their own ways. Comparing acting to art is like comparing guitar to drums. They both take skill, and hard work.
I agree that being a famous actor/actress is hard, I'd HATE to have people wanting to know what I was doing all day everyday, and I feel bad for their kids because they get treated the same way. However, art is not easy. Ask anyone with a degree in Art, it's about the hardest profession to make money from. I love to draw, but I would never want to be an artist for a living.
It's true, though.
I think everything is hard unless you're inclined to do it
Why do I feel as if they set you up for that one?
she should have taken it like a pro and joked about it - people are just too serious nowadays...
Well that was ignorant of you

well youre an idiot because art is much more complicated ... ... I can't draw for my life nor can I pass it off like I can ... meanwhile people will see a movie with jessica Simpson and call that "acting" ... it ain't hard
...honestly? Comparing actors and artists is like comparing apples and pears. Done well, each require talent and effort.
