The real problem is the mom fails because she can't even laugh at herself. I'm a Cubs fan but I make fun of myself all the time. People like you better if you can make fun or laugh at yourself. Special Interests groups can suck the lower part of me where the sun don't shine.

Acting is difficult, of course, but so is art. If you're a truly talented actor, it's easy to find work. Do you have any idea how hard it is to make it as an artist? If you put down "random scribbles" and try to call it abstract art, it will be rejected by everyone. Art takes both time and talent. That being said, YDI for being an inconsiderate douchebag.

IMHO: Art needs talent (making it look like something). Abstract art is NOTHING. It's only hard if you try to recreate it because you won't remember the exact direction and force applied when you threw the paint on. It's a popularity contest for the loaded painters. I'm an abstract artist, I just choose to enjoy my talent on my own :P

And 142 you are right that everything is "art". That gets bunny ears because in that same context, my hair is a work of art, my messy bedroom shows the artistic passion in me, and my recently clipped toe nails are works of art

i dont think people are taking into account how broad of a subject art really is. Art could include painting, sculptures, literature, music(im a musician hehehe), and some could argue that acting is a form of art. OP ydi for being ignorant about art.
