Op is from Ontario, an 85 is an A here. Our passing grade in Canada is a 50% :P
dat bcuz cunadeanz so dum dry had 2 lower so to b nice n retarts wooden fale!
There are other countries that have a passing mark of 50% Just because our passing mark is lower, doesn't mean our education is easier. Like 63 said, 85% in Canada equals a 95% in the States.
I'm kidding. Anyway it's probably cuz the work is harder, like in my AP classes an A is worth more for your GPA than an A in a regular class, but it's a lot more work to make an A in those classes.
#49, Passing grade is 60 in Alberta- Damn Ontarians thinking that they're the only province..
85% is not a bad mark at all, especially in math. (My least favorite subject.). Your friend is probably just joking. On a side note, the Canadian education system is harder then the American system. So an 85% in Canada is 95% or higher in the USA.
number 1, has anyone evr called u a nerd? haha jk
Yes, people have called me a nerd. None of which are still alive. They died young, if you catch my drift.
this FML fails miserably
wow. is 85 percent really your idea of smart?
thats what friends are for !:)
EDIT: Disregard comment.

An 85? That's not that great. Most people I know get above 95.
If she's impressed by an 85, clearly she's the dumb one.
