Why do comments get moderated? For a site that's all about the shitty things in life and peoples misfortune, people can't even comment whatever they want. It really makes me want to know what those comments were. Freedom of speech anyone?

That's not how freedom of speech works. FML is a privately owned website and can moderate whatever the hell they want. No one is paying for FML's services either, so no legitimate complaint can be made.
