Today, my girlfriend and I were lying in her bed. We fooled around and were about to have sex as she suddenly began to cry without any reason. She cried for 30 minutes until I finally managed to calm her down. She said there was no reason for her crying. Then she fell asleep. FML

Ummm I can see a woman crying for no reason when she's doing other things.. But that? She shouldn't have time to think about crying... let alone cry.. Not a good sign for you homie

sorry to tell you, but she probably cheated on you and feels horrible about it. she's crying because she feels guilty, and because she feels guilty she can't have sex with you. and obviously she can't tell you. No matter what, there is ALWAYS a reason for a woman crying like that. hormones really don't do that to women. oh. Another possibility, she could also be pregnant and afraid to tell you.

yes, hormones actually do that to a woman, esp a pregnant one. Although I believe she is probably sexually traumatized and has trust issues because of it, I'm no psychologist and don't pretend to be one.

Not every girl who cries and says there's no reason is cheating. She may be having a problem she's not ready to talk about, or she may have depression, PTSD, or any number of other mental conditions that cause neurotransmitters to be out of balance, leading to random mood swings. Or (although as a woman I hate to say something so cliche) maybe it's PMS.

Sometimes girls are just emotional messes. I bet she hates randomly crying for 30 minutes... it's not like anyone wants to do that. Treat her right and be understanding, otherwise next time she hits a bitchy mood swing, she'll dump your ass for being a douche. I cry like that for no reason sometimes; thankfully my husband doesn't go online and write FMLs about it.
