Today, my girlfriend of 3 years who had taken a job in a new city last month came into town and told me that she had slept with a co-worker last Friday. Last Friday I was incredibly lonely but I turned down a very attractive woman because I didn't want to hurt my girlfriend. FML

They met a few months ago, and she's really cool, we share the same interests, it's nice to spend time with her, etc., but my girlfriend planned to break up with me and "trained" her because she doesn't want me to be lonely. I don't understand how some people are saying that even thinking about sex with someone else is cheating. Thinking about it & acting on it...two totally different things. Hell, if thinking of sex with another person is "cheating" then I guess I've "cheated" on my ex-bf's hundreds of times. Some people are just really sad...
