Today, my girlfriend started a month-long period of not talking to me. One of her male friends, who is a self-styled astrologist, told her there are "bad omens" in our relationship for the coming weeks. I don't know if I should dump her for being gullible or just plain stupid. FML

You should really date smarter people

Dump her... Really what's the point if she won't talk to you?

Dump, She's not talking and she's stupid gullible because You never know her male friend might try to tell her some more Bullshit. like her vaginas has bad omens coming from it and he needs to cleanse it with his penis.

At least credit her for attempting to avoid fights with you. Although its perhaps the most insincere way to go about it!

I say run to her, hug her, kiss her, and b like nothing will ever happen to us. But only if u really care about her

You should beat his ass which im surprised you haven't done already and then tell her go **** yourself.

Just gain points all around by telling her your love is stronger than the stars so she gives you more all month. At the end of that month, point out how wrong her friend was and suggest he's just trying to break you up. She'll confront him, he'll deny it, she won't believe him & she'll stop being so naive. Plus, if you break up she'll be convinced he was right and that douche will be nailing your girl.

"one of her male friends" - there's your problem. The women who believe that it works never die out. It's like communism or world peace. Sounds good, ain't happening. OK ladies, flame me and keep doing the same stupid thing again and again... I see cats in your future.

I agree. I have male friends, but I keep more distance between us since I'm in a relationship. I know for a fact at least two of them are attracted to me, and am fairly certain the rest see me as a back-up plan. That's reality. I can't just tell them to F-off, but I only see them occasionally & always with my boyfriend present. Now let's talk about guys with female friends....

Same thing - dropped contact when I got in a relationship...
