Today, my girlfriend visited my restaurant with some guy I'd never seen before. She introduced him to me as her "new boyfriend". She was always a cold bitch, but I never saw this coming. I had to serve their food while choking back tears, and I couldn't work up the nerve to spit in it. FML

It's called perseverance. When you care about someone you don't just send them away when there's a sign if trouble because you want to work through the issues and stay together. It's kind of what a stable couple is supposed to do and what people who want a working relationship strive for. I know my boyfriend is an asshole, but he's different around me and has a sweet spot for me. But I won't break up with him because of that. Accepting someone means accepting all of them.
