Today, my grandma bought me a cemetery plot for my birthday. If that's not weird enough, it's about a two-minute walk from where the rest of my family will be buried. FML

No, you obviously don't. A two mile distance is still a two mile distance no matter how you chose to travel. Just because one method takes less time to travel than another does not make the distance any shorter.

I don't understand why people think useful gifts qualify as fml material. That's thousands of dollars you're not going to have to budget for when planning your life insurance or something you won't have to put in your funeral pre-planning years down the road. As for not being right next to the rest of your family...who cares? It's a hole in the ground for your body to rot in. It's not like you'll have any idea where your corpse resides or the opportunity to chat with the corpse buried next to yours. Appreciate she thinks enough of you to actually do this, and thought far enough ahead to make sure you at least ended up in the same cemetery as the rest of your family.
