I think spending 40 bucks for a good pair of jeans is expensive enough. $300 for pre-ripped jeans is retarded. Actually, it's effing brilliant, because people are stupid enough to spend that kind of money on such a thing. Considering these jeans were somehow left under a circumstance in which your grandmother could find and repair them, I'd wager you didn't buy them yourself, which makes it even worse.
Wow, $300 for a pair of ripped jeans. I'll rip your jeans for free, and they'll still be trendy. Holy shit, sometimes I just want a nicely cut pair of jeans that are jeans coloured and have no rips. I CAN'T FIND ANY! This new trend with jeans is ridiculous.
Ha, yeah, you're right. Abercrombie & whatever the other store was jeans are no where NEAR the same quality as Walmart's jeans. WALMART PROBABLY HAS BETTER JEANS. Just because they cost more doesn't mean they're made better. Half the time they're probably made shittier. Those stores just know that even thought they only have to pay a few cents to a few dollars for the shitty material - they can gouge you out of hundreds. Seriously, people. Walmart isn't only for the 'super poor'. I'm just a college student who only has so much money, & I'd like to spend as little of it as possible on necessities, & as much of it as possible on stuff I actually want. & yeah, I'd love to buy something 'designer' - I just wouldn't spend $300 it. & on jeans. God no. Jeans could so easily be ruined whether your Grandma patches them up or not. You just have to learn to shop smart. & I honestly don't think buying jeans [or anything 'designer' & overpriced, for that matter] is smart right now. I love coupons & ads - you should learn how to read & use them.
wow 300 buks for jeans...ripped jeans too...next time use some of that money for a charity
people who spend $300.00 dollars on jeans don't have grannys that mend.
This may actually be the most important Marxist discourse of our generation... But seriously, I think the person's appreciation of his/her grandmother can't be argued here. We simply don't and can't know. So the real argument is: pragmatism or aestheticism?
yeah buying $300 jeans is pretty dumb but it sucks a lot that ur grandmother sewed them up.

well thats what you get for buying $300 jeans.
Maybe now you can reflect on how absurd it is to spend $300 on Jeans that are ripped, simply because they are "trendy"...
