Always keep a separate bank account! It's not a trust thing, it's just good business practice. Those who think different now will understand later in life.

It's better if you don't anyway. I'd be smart about it and leave your banking the way it is and just figure out how to pay the bills another way

Honestly I think ydi. These are things that should be discussed before getting married. Finances, family, lifestyle choices; those are all things you would have been very clear on before marriage.
