Today, my little sister got mad at me because I wouldn't let her read my IM conversation. I took a nap and when I woke up, my laptop was gone. She took it on a trip to her grandparents' house, six hours away. Nude pictures of me and my paper due tomorrow are on the laptop. FML

Having grown up with 2 older sisters I have learnt that you never let a girl no matter what the age walk away angry and thinking that they need to get back at you. What you should have said was something like "I will show you, but only if you prove to me that your old enough by doing X", and making X an impossible task of some kind. That would have distracted her with something else and she probably would have forgotten about it some time later if she was going to your granparents anyway. Either that or you shouldn't leave your laptop just out in the open where little hands can snatch it. Hope you passworded your profile at least!

See, this is why you shouldn't keep naked pictures of yourself on your electronic devices. Make sure to delete them as soon as you get your laptop back. And about the paper...I'm so sorry. Always make sure you keep a back-up or two.

if you're underage and the photos get published on the internet, you can get charged with producing child pornography. google "sexting" to see what the big deal is all about.

that's why you don't take nude pictures of yourself... duhhhhhhhhh and what is it with people not putting passwords on their computers? Am I the only one that does that? Like really, when I get up from the computer I press my log out button on my keyboard, then I have to enter a password to get in... no one would ever be to mess with my stuff. But just a general rule, if you take nude pictures, they will be on the internet sooner or later...unless you delete them

Dang, sometimes I ******* hate little kids (except my little sister, who's good :D)! Make sure to sabotage something of hers, then give her the cold shoulder for... I dunno, a year? Show that little twerp where her place is. Nobody should EVER **** with your grades or something of yours as expensive as a computer!

I don't feel bad about the naked pictures. You shouldn't have saved those on your computer lol. That makes you sound like a *****, imo. The paper you most likely should have printed out, but all the same, I do feel bad for that because sometimes people wait 'til last minute to do that. Your sister is a bitch for taking your laptop--your parents are morons for letting her get away with it (wouldn't they notice that? It's pretty expensive, and from the sounds of it, not something you'd normally let her "borrow"), and I really hope you password protected your login or this really will turn into an YDI ordeal.

I use Windows Live Mesh. It automatically syncs my documents folder online, so if something like that were too happen at least I'd have my paper. :)
