Today, my mom and my step dad decided they're getting a divorce. They've been married for 2 weeks and I paid for a quarter of the wedding. FML

It seems like everyone saying "the adults should be able to pay" is assuming the person who wrote it is what....not an adult too? It's possible they make more than their parents. Not saying that means they do, or that they should pay...but it's really not that unrealistic that they would.
