Today, my mom got drunk and started crying at my after-wedding party, after promising she'd behave herself. She thinks my husband is an awful person who'll drag me into a life of sin, all because he has a tattoo and an ear piercing. FML

Today, my stepmother ruined my wedding by trying to get me to cover my tattoos with makeup. She spilled makeup on my dress, delayed the limo, talked through the ceremony about my tattoos looking horrible, and tried to cancel our photographer so there’d by no official photos of my horrible tattoos. FML

Don't feel too bad. My husband's family completely disowned him for marrying me because I have tattoos and refuse to even acknowledge our daughter as family. Some people wouldn't know good manners if it danced naked in front of them then went round and bit em in the behind.

what a ridiculous thing to say! i hate how peiple are so stereotypical about people with tattoos and piercings! i must be a sunner too as i have both of these, regardless as to where the piercing is or what the tatto is it should not give people the right to assume they are a baf person! and congrats on getting married :)

As someone with tattoos and piercings I have to say that sadly your mother is right, he'll just bring you ... Wait that's stupid! It's unfortunate that there is this stigma. All types of people have tattoos and piercings, you can't really deduce anything from that alone.
