Today, my mother and I went to Wal-Mart to buy pads. I suggested I get tampons instead, so that I can go swimming at my boyfriend's cottage. My mother then goes to the nearest store employee and asks, "excuse me, if my daughter uses a tampon, does that mean she is no longer a virgin?" FML

I mean, they think that because women never used to ********** or go bike riding really quickly, so the only way your hymen would break (and allow you to use a tampon) would be to actually have sex. For instance, my mom told me that I shouldn't use tampons until after I had sex, because it would be too uncomfortable. But to ask an employee? When now adays, practically no one has their hymen intact past 14? I mean seriously wtf. This is the 21st century people. Learn it. Love it.

You obviously know nothing about anatomy or feminine hygiene products. The hymen is located further along the ****** and would not be affected by the use of a tampon which is only two to three inches long.

I don't know what's going on in your lady bits, but last time I checked, the hymen is pretty damn close to the entrance. Also, hymens generally don't last long anymore, because women are doing more physical stuff these days, like horseback riding, gymnastics, or riding bikes, but even with the use of tampons, some chicks STILL have theirs intact. I don't know how, but mine was still there when I first had sex. After horseback riding, riding bikes, and using super plus tampons due to ridiculously heavy periods. So yeah, it happens.
