Today, my mother gave my daughter a behavior chart. I noticed that "drinking beer" was at the top of one of the columns. It's a chart for my daughter to use on me so my mother can judge my parenting skills. I am currently losing a sticker right now for being on the computer. FML

Today, my daughter asked me if we could make sticker art. Of course I said it was OK so she went to get some stickers. I wondered where she was going when she walked into the bathroom, but I didn't ask. I left the room and when I came back, her paper was blank and my pads were stuck to the wall. FML

Today, I left a concert with my drunk mother who had spilled beer all over my shirt. I drove her home and she slept it off. Later, my mom "found" my shirt in the laundry and grounded me for drinking behind her back. She won't believe me that it was her. FML

Today, I came home and saw on our fridge, "Please don't drink anymore, I really worry about your health" written by my 7-year-old daughter. I figured she wouldn't ever find out, so I opened the fridge. Then I found another note on a can that said, "So you're going to drink anyway?" FML

That sucks.. Sounds like something a mother-in-law would do more than a mom. Now, I'm a huge smart ass, I'd totally turn it around on her. Such as "Drinking a Beer because my mom(grandma) is being a bitch again" :: 2 stickers :: Better yet, I'd get a whole stack of stickers ad just fill all the spots in.. make grandma think you're 10xs worse than you really are. And not invite her over anymore.

Take the chart away (your kid will probably lose interest in it anyway- what child wants to keep track of something like that when they could be playing?), and tell your mother that even if she thinks that you're a bad parent, she shouldn't bring your daughter into it. And if you want to get back at her a little, make up a chart for her, fill out all the bad stuff, then give it to your daughter and tell your mother that she's secretly been keeping track of her the whole time.

Funny idea to get back, but that's -using- her daughter, and totally unfair to the kid (not to mention potentially psychologically damaging). She just needs to tell her mom off. (And actually... a lot of kids would probably LOVE critiquing their parents like this. Stickers are fun, and getting to tell your mom what to do is fun.)
