Why is your mother judging your parenting skills and encouraging your daughter to take notes and snitch on you? I do a lot of my court reporting work in Family Law, so I'm reasonably certain this is not something that is happening because of a court case. In fact, I think a mediator or judge would be likely to regard this as a serious problem with your mother, not with you, except as you allowed your mother and daughter to spend a lot of time together. I think that your mother is slimy and is teaching your daughter to be just like her. Yes, stand up for yourself. Shred the chart and make sure your daughter sees you do it. Sharply limit the time that she has with her grandmother, and make sure you're around to supervise these visits. Most important, grow a spine. This is long overdue.

Big deal. Put on your big girl panties, take it away and burn it. If you are old enough to have a child capable of using such a chart, then you're old enough to show some leadership in your home. Assert yourself. And you totally deserve the FYL if you aren't ready to step up to your responsibilities.
