don't give your mother-in-law a key to your house..
bitch
It stuns me that any parent would think it OK to destroy any item. Ditto to the idea that it's OK to "replace" items from someone's refrigerator etc. None of those actions are OK. Either the parent is mentally ill or is harboring unacknowledged anger.
OMG Im so sorry for you both.. OP I sincerely hope your husband spoke to his mother about this and how totally and completely she has F-ED UP and how detrimentally important those papers were to your buisness! I know if it were me and my mother-in-law I would be SOO upset I wouldnt be able to talk to her about it I would ask my husband to considering its HIS mother and such a MAJOR breach of trust! I hope you have backups or other drafts and are able to finish in time :(
I would NEVER give my Mother in law or my Mother a key to my house!! I know what would happen! My Mother in law has hated me for 25 years! I bet she'd love to get in my house alone and set me up!
what a ass
When any relatives come over and try to do any cleaning, I watch them like a hawk. I also get shitfaced drunk and play grabass with them to make them uncomfortable, it works pretty good to keep them out of my stuff, and it's fun as well.

Make her pay for that shit. Seriously.
Ah... it finally made it in. The young lady who controls this character account is the OP for this one. It happened a long time ago, but it still riles her up terribly. The locks have since been changed and little miss tidy-up-without-asking is not allowed to have a copy of the keys. Ever.
