Oh for ****'s sake...it's like you guys are making OP sound like some really bad person because she's living at home...like it's some kind of crime for her to be living with her parents. Who cares if she's 24? Who cares if she's in a long-term relationship? Maybe there are REASONS she hasn't been able to move out yet. I know someone who lives at home and they're turning 26 this year. Someone else I know was probably around 25-26 when they moved out. My best friend is engaged and she's still living at home. Stop judging people when you don't know the situation.

OP's mom may have gone into OP's room without her daughter's consent with the pretense of "cleaning" in order to snoop on her daughter. My mom does this and it's really irritating. I'm 22 and moved back home after college to help them with the mortage after my dad got laid off. I clean my own room and I like it that way. My mom just likes to snoop. >.
