Today, my neighbor called me on vacation to tell me that she let my mother into my house to feed my fish. I don't have fish, and my mother passed away 3 years ago. FML

Today, I was making the daily commute to work when suddenly my mother calls me, crying that there's been a death in the family, then abruptly hangs up. I speed home, to find my mother holding the tiny corpse of a fish that she got 2 weeks ago. I got fired for being late to work. FML

Today, my 9 year-old little sister is coming back to town with the rest of my family. She specifically asked me to feed her fish. I totally forgot until she called me 10 minutes ago to tell me she was on her way home and couldn't wait to see her fishie. He's dead. FML

Today, my friend is furious with me because while I was watching her various fish for two weeks, I failed to feed her favorite fish and it died. The reason I didn't take care of it was because she never told me she had it, that it was in her room unlike the rest of the fish, so I never saw it. FML

Today, I called my mother who is vacationing in Florida with my dad and sister. Before they left I told them I would be very responsible and that they could trust me. The first thing she asked me is if all the animals were still alive. I said yes. I lied. Her favourite cat drowned in the pool. FML

Your neighbor clearly didn't have her thinking cap on, because if she had, she would have realized that she would have been tasked with feeding the fish, being that she already held the key and all. When I'm gone, I try to minimize the amount of people going through my stuff, whether I know them or not.

Actually, your wrong to say that. My family and I have a very incredible neighbor who we have known for many years ,but both my family and the neighbors don't really know all that much about each other. Even so we have watched his house and he has watched our house.

When my family goes on vacation, we give our key to our neighbour who we've known and trusted for 18 years... I wonder what op did. And we ask the neighbour to feed the fish, not someone else.
