I would feel exactly the same op ... those things are expensive and when you think you've lost something you naturally panic ... tell your mom but maybe still go to the private school to save on more embarasment :S I lose my iPhone all the time in my bag and stuff and have a complete panic every time so you're not alone :) at least you found it. for those saying they're spolit, stop being jealous and yeah it was stupid but it's not that bad... his mom probably paid for the phone and was really angry and sometimes you will yell at anyone when you're angry

Overreaction. I bought my iPhone last year out of my hard earned money, I took it to school and it was on the lunch table & one of my friends accidentally knocked water all over it. I didn't make them pay, I tried to fix it myself but it didn't work, so I had to get a new phone. I didn't overreact!

I'm gonna say YDI, for having your mom yell at the secretary. And you know what even if it was stolen, I would still say YDI. Don't leave that stuff in your locker. and BTW some private schools are WAY worse than public.

I can't help but wonder what made you think it was stolen in the first place other than you didn't see it right away. Was the door busted? Unlocked? Anything else missing? If not, then you are clearly a crazy person.

Wtf why do people jump the gun like this and cancel it and stuff? I would exhaust every possibility before doing anything drastic.. Especially with a cell phone.. It's a little different in the case of a credit card but a cell phone? Hold off for a half hour and look for it.. Besides the teachers always told us not to bring expensive things to school when I was there BECAUSE there was a lack of security..
