Today, my now ex-boyfriend accused me of wanting to screw his 11-year-old brother, all because I expressed interest in going to his birthday party. FML

You almost wonder if he even heard himself. That's just insecure to the extreme

Does it matter? Point is OP is now free to date someone less insecure who doesn't accuse her of wanting to **** children.

OMG so insecure... and of a little kid?

Why would you even think this?

Nowhere in the fml did it give you OP's age so for you to make this assumption is idiotic

He was overreacting, but op, why would you want to go to an 11 year-old's birthday party?

Trying to be a part of his family...sharing some good memories together.

I like going to birthday parties for my partners younger siblings. Hanging out with his family is nice. OP probably felt the same. :)

Do you not go to your siblings parties? cousins?

Plus, what if there was face-painting and a bouncy castle? I'd want in on that party.

What's wrong with going to a kids birthday party? Are people that worried about creeps? Besides it wasn't like it was a stranger's little brother or kids birthday party, it was your then boyfriend's brother's party. I would be happy if someone expressed they wanted to be an active part in my family life because it shows they intend to get comfy with a potential new branch of the family. When you marry someone, they become your in laws. There's nothing wrong with meeting and interacting with your lover's family.

Plottwist: OP and her ex-boyfriend are 12.

Leave him, if he accuses you of wanting to have sex with an 11 year old he has some real issues.
